Worth some persistence
Through a local group. Free. Donations are taken through the site and are separate from taking part.
How to find or start oneThere is no membership desk to write to, because the unit is a parish Holy Hour rather than a roll. Write if you would like to start one, and use the Resources page for what to show your pastor.
There is no membership form anywhere on the site, and that is by design: the unit is a parish Holy Hour, not a roll. Find one near you, or use the Resources page and write to the League at P.O. Box 44222, Madison, WI 53744 to start one at your own parish. The site publishes a recommended shape for the evening, so a pastor has something concrete to say yes to.
Members have a portal to sign in to.
This is for men, and it is built around one evening a month rather than a rule of life you carry alone. A parish hosts a Holy Hour, usually on a First Friday: the Blessed Sacrament is exposed, confession is available throughout, a Rosary is prayed together, someone speaks for twenty minutes, there is Benediction, and then everyone goes to the hall for pizza and a drink. Cardinal Burke agreed to be its Spiritual Head, and his argument is that the sixteenth century faced a fleet and we face materialism and confusion, so the weapons are the same ones Pius V reached for: the Eucharist and the Rosary. There is nothing to sign. You turn up, or you ask your parish to start one.
Where it comes from
2021. Named for the Holy League that Pope St Pius V formed in 1571 before Lepanto, and relaunched for the 450th anniversary of that battle on 7 October 2021.
What you promise
No written rule is published. In practice: attend the monthly Holy Hour, and the League encourages consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Chaste Heart of Joseph, along with the Rosary and regular devotion to the Blessed Sacrament.
What the Church attaches
No indulgence is published on the site. What is offered is monthly Eucharistic adoration with confession available, and the company of other men doing the same thing.
Enrollment checked 2026-10-22. Details change without notice and parish practice varies. Confirm before relying on this sheet.
